My gardening adventures have taken a turn toward the twilight zone.
My cucumber plant and my watermelon cross pollinated and the outcome is bizarre.
So would this be a cucumelon...
or a watercumber?
And what is this? It's yellow but all of the other...watcumberelons? ... are green.
So what do you do with mutant gardening products? Do I dare eat them?
I might grow an extra arm. Wait! I'm a mom! How many uses could I find for an extra arm?!
(Now taking a bite.)
Blech! Bitter and strange.
What do I do with the rest of them?
Too bad Rod Serling isn't still around. I'd invite him over for a twilight zone special - watumbermelon salad.

Oh, that's just funny! I think I like the cucumelon title best. : )
