DIY Home Decor

I've always wanted some sort of cute sign for the laundry room. A couple of days ago I pulled out the wire I used on a previous project. (Hanging Wall Vases) And started experimenting. I twisted it into a cursive "Laundry" then I thought that it need to be mounted on something. I picked up a few 1x4's at the hardware store. I screwed them together in a way reminiscent of a packing crate, attached the wire and a few clothespins and here's the result.

I like it. I think that it's pretty cute. And I can change up the stuff in the clothes pins. I had kid's artwork up there earlier. I'm still considering staining the wood, maybe with some sort of color wash, but for now I like it.
