Southwest Travels Wrap-up

So our trip was lots of fun and we saw a lot in a short time. We did try to see Tombstone but when we pulled into town there was no place to park. It looked like a tourist trap and we decided to turn around and get back on the main road. I didn't even take a picture, which for me is saying something. Here are a few more pictures from along the road. These are just interesting sights between stops. It was a great trip and gave us some great family time and great memories.

I go nuts for snow covered mountains.

Not a great picture but one of the few that I got during our short time on Old Route 66.

Piles of Volcanic Rock between The Grand Canyon and Wupatki Ruins. So many signs of volcanoes on this trip!

There were quite a few hot air ballons as we pulled into Tuscon. We drove past one on the ground too and we were suprised at how close they were to the power lines ... until we saw the name of the celebration - "The Tequila Festival".
